Paula Marzella is one of the top Sports Massage Therapists in the country. After graduating from the Florida School of Massage in 1991, she spent more than eight years providing massage and technical support to some of the world’s premier Olympic and World Class professional cyclists who have ridden for such teams as Saturn, Motorola, US Postal Service, BMC and Team Type 1 Professional Cycling Team.

From 1994 to 1998, she was Assistant Road Manager and Senior Therapist for the Saturn Professional Cycling Team. During that time, she traveled with the team extensively throughout the United States and many foreign countries. Her travels took her to six continents.
Since that time, Paula’s training has expanded to include a multitude of other types of techniques to add to her background in Physical Therapy and Exercise Physiology. She continues to work with Professional Cycling teams part-time, but focuses the majority of her efforts to her practice in Asheville, North Carolina.
Although her primary work is with sports enthusiasts, she is involved with people of all backgrounds and skill levels. She incorporates numerous techniques in her practice, including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, La Stone Therapy, Active Isolated Stretching and Trigger Point Therapy.
In addition to being a licensed therapist in North Carolina and Florida, Paula is nationally certified and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
